Climb Mera Peak - Nepal

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu Airport & Transfer to Hotel
After you arrive in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our representative at the airport, and then s/he will transfer you to the hotel. Check in to the hotel. The rest of the day is all yours and overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Prepare permit & trekking gears
Today our experienced and skilled guide will brief you about the trek. And you will be preparing for a permit and get ready with all the necessary trekking equipment. Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 03: Trek Lukla to Chutanga
We have an easy day through the forest above Lukla. A fine trail takes us through the meadow to the edge of pine and rhododendron forest, which covers the vertical hills above Lukla. After around 3 hours, we get to Chutanga. Overnight at lodge in Chutanga.
Day 04: Trek Chutanga to Khartitang
It takes about 6 hours to trek from Chutanga to Khartitang. First, you walk passing through Zatrawa La Pass (4610m.) with a vertical climb. Next, you will see the fantastic views of Kongdi Ri, Numbur Himal, Karyolang peak, and several other mountains and peaks. Then after, we move down to Khartitang at 3900m.
Day 05: Trek Khatitang to Nau Lekha
Today we trek to Nau Lekha from Khartitang. It is enjoyable trekking, and we pass through lush valleys and several settlements. You can see the sights of the surroundings all along the route to Nau Lekha. Overnight at Lodge in Naulekha.
Day 06: Trek Nau Lekha to Kothey, Overnight at Lodge
We move along the trail to Kothey, leaving Nau Lekha today. The track enjoyably descends through the forest. We will see huts, shepherds, and meadows along the trail. The sight of peaks and forests is captivatingly beautiful en route to Kothey. We stay overnight at Lodge in Kothey.
Day 07: Trek Kothey to Thangnak, Overnight at Lodge
We today walk from Kothe to Thangnak (4356m.), passing through Hinku Valley (4600m.). You will be walking next to the bank of the river. The path further ascends, and you can take pleasure in the peak views like Kusum Kanguru peak and many others. Overnight at lodge in Thangnak.
Day 08: Trek Thangnak to Khare, Overnight at Lodge
We today move from Thangnak and walk towards the peak as the way moves to the east. Finally, we reach an altitude and get ourselves at Khare, close to the base of the Hinku Nup Glacier. Overnight at Lodge in Kahre.
Day 09: From Khare trek to Mera BC, Overnight at Camp
On this day, we arrive at Mera Base Camp, which lies at the elevation of 5300m taking about 6 hours. The trail is full of enormous views of the Himalayas. Upon reaching the Mera base camp, you will be free to walk around the area of Mera Peak. We set our camp to stay overnight.

Day 10: From Mera Base Camp, climb to High Camp
On this day, we walk to High Camp, higher than the Mera Peak at 5750m. Our way up is not very long but has a few challenging paths. The sight of the gigantic mountains and snow-topped peaks gives you an excellent impression. We put high camp here and stay overnight.
Day 11: From High Camp, reach the summit of 6654m. & Back to Base camp
This day is to reach the top of Mera Peak (6476m.). The fantastic views of Mt. Everest, Chamlang Nuptse, and many other peaks having heights of over eight thousand are visible from the summit of the peak, which is an unforgettable experience. We go back to base camp and stay overnight there.
Day 12: Trek from Mera Base Camp to Khare, Overnight at Lodge
On this day, we retrace our steps back to Khare after having the experience of reaching the top of the peak and witnessing the unforgettable views. Also, the views are pleasing while walking down to Khare from the base camp. We stay overnight at Lodgein Khare.
Day 13: From Khare trek to Kothey, Overnight at Lodge
We depart from Khare to arrive at Kothe, which takes about 8 hours. On this day, you march along the steady descent trail passing through Tangnang, a small village where you will see a yak settlement. To reach Kothey, you go after the same path. On the way, you leave behind forests enclosed with rhododendron, fir, and local vegetation.
Day 14: From Kothey trek to Khartitang, Overnight at Lodge
We trek back to Khartitang from Kothey today. We keep walking through the same enjoyable views of natural plants and scenery. Finally, we get to Khartitang and set our camp for an overnight stay.
Day 15: Trek Khartitang to Chutanga, Overnight at Lodge
We walk back to Chutanga from Khartitang today, moving down and passing through the forest of rhododendrons. Again, the striking views of the Himalayan range seem to be pleasing and memorable though we are having distance from these terrific views. Finally, we arrive at Chutanga and place camps for an overnight stay.
Day 16: Chutanga to Lukla, Overnight at Lodge
We today move from Chutanga to Lukla, taking about four hours. First, you trek through forests of rhododendron, fir, oak, juniper, and other different vegetation. Then, the track you walk down takes you to Lukla. Here, you can enjoy the views of Numbur Himal, Karyolang peak, Kongdi Ri, and many other mountains and peaks.
Day 17: Take a flight from Lukla to Kathmandu, Overnight at Hotel
Early in the morning, we take a scenic flight from Lukla to travel back to Kathmandu. Finally, we transferred back to our hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 18: Rest day in Kathmandu. After breakfast, you will have a sightseeing trip to Boudhanath Stupa, the second biggest stupa in the world. Also, you will visit Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as ‘Monkey Temple,’ and observe the attractive views of Kathmandu valley. Pashupatinath temple, a famous Hindus temple, is another spot to explore. And going around Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, and Bhaktapur Durbar Square will be worth it since these are renowned places for art and architecture and are enlisted on UNESCO World Heritage List.
Day 19: Flight out of the country.
