“In constructing our trip, we wanted to start in Europe visiting a few Old World cites, stop in the Middle East to explore the origins of multiple religions, go on safaris in southern Africa, delve into India, and traverse Ecuador and Colombia. Traveling to these many locations takes time, however building in “overland-on-your-own” segments between flights, allows you to create a level of flexibility and remove the need to backtrack on your travels.
