Day 1: Arrive in Marrakech
Our driver will pick you up at the airport, and you’ll have the day to relax while exploring the main square Jemaa el Fnaa and the souks.
Day 2: Marrakech Guided Tour
Today will have an optional private Guided Tour of Marrakech Medina with an official guide from Marrakech. You will see the famous Mosque of Koutoubia, the Medina, and its souks and explore some more of Marrakech’s secrets: Ali Ben Youssef Koranic school, the Saadian the Bahia Palace, and Majorelle Gardens. Night at a Riad in the Medina.
Day 3: Marrakech – Atlas Mountains – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Gorges
Today departure from Marrakech at 9 am and cross the Tizi n Tichka Pass of the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, you will stop to visit the UNESCO World Heritage site at Ait Ben Haddou. Then, continue to explore the fascinating Dades Valley and its famous Gorges. Arrive to Dades Gorges. Dinner and night in an Auberge in the mountains.
Day 4: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Rissani – Merzouga
Today, you will be taken to the Erg Chebbi Dunes. First, detour to visit Todra Gorges, the most impressive canyon in Morocco. In the afternoon, arrive at a charming Auberge situated in the Erg Chebbi. Dinner and night at an auberge situated at the bottom of Erg Chebbi Dunes.
Day 5: Off-road 4×4 in Erg Chebbi in the Sahara Desert (Camel Trek & night in desert)
Today, you’ll have the day to explore the Erg Chebbi Sahara Desert. You’ll be able to visit a local musical village Khamlia, share tea with a nomadic family. Following, prepare for Camel Trekking into the desert. You will stop to admire the sunset. Dinner under the stars, followed by night in a Berber-style tent. We have our private camp area. If you prefer not to camp out, you go Camel Trekking for one hour to view the sunset and spend the night at the Auberge.
Day 6: Erg Chebbi – Merzouga – Drâa Valley – Ouarzazate
After breakfast, you’ll head through Alnif and Agdz to give you a taste of the Drâa Valley. Your destination is Ouarzazate, a relatively new city home to the Kasbah Taourirte, once owned by the Glaouis family, who ruled Morocco. Dinner and night at a Riad.
Day 7: Ouarzazate – Telouet – Hight Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
Today, you will head backcrossing the Tizi N Tichka pass and the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech. Night at a Riad in the Medina.
Day 8: Departure from Marrakech
Transfer to the airport for onward flight.
